  1. hey, i got a new trek 4400 hardtrail and it has rst omega t4 fork. I was wondering how to adjust it and make it stiffer because the grease marks are very close to bottoming out. There are two twisty knobs ontop of the forks which you use to adjust them. Which way is tighten and when i twist them they just keep twisting and never stop. Do you need to push them down and twist or what.

    Thanks

  2. Don't know what sort of riding you're doing, but bottoming out isn't a problem. For DH/freeride type stuff the manitou mech says it's fine to bottom out up to six times a ride in order to get full use of your travel. You want about 25% travel sag for DH and 15% for XC when you sit on the bike

  3. the preload adjusters should be marked with a + and - sign to indicate which way will make it stiffer.

    Normally its clockwise for harder
