At the risk of offering something small and stupid...
This happens to me a lot: I stop at a light, waiting in the center of the lane to go straight on green, and a car behind me wants to take a right turn but doesn't squeeze by on my left (Good cager!). In the interest of more peace and less rage on the roadways, if the lane's wide enough, I like to move leftward to make room on the right for turners. When I first started commuting, this was a rather ungraceful thing, dragging by the top tube or saddle and bars while waddling over the bike in cleats.
A while ago, I figured out a faster and more fun way: With my right cleat still in the pedal and my left foot down, I lock the front brake, push forward and down on the bars to lift the rear wheel off the pavement, and lean the bike a bit to the left. The back of the bike swings leftward, I put it back down, then scoot the front with my hands still on the bars. (Okay, so this doesn't work so well when I've got 30+ pounds of groceries on the rack!) That's the only kind of fishtailing I want to experience on my bike...
