I just purchased a used Cannondale R500 and it came with an ACT cycling computer. I went for a ride and it was way off in terms of distance. I don't have the chart to see what number I need to set the device to to give me an accurate reading.

ANYONE?
Thanks Robert
There'll most likely be a reset button which will allows you to enter the 'Roll out length' of your tyre (dependant on wheel size). I have a Cateye, and have 700 x 20c wheelset. For me, this equates to entering 2086mm. This link is for the manual for my computer, which includes a sizing chart. I would assume that most computers enter this measurement in the same way, so see how you go.
