This is the 10th year the Children 1st in Inverness have organised the
Across Ross Walk to raise funds for their centre on the Black Isle.
I did it a few years ago and enjoyed every torrential rain-soaked minute of
the first day followed by a glorious second day of warm sunshine.
It takes place over the weekend Saturday and Sunday 28th and 29th May 2005
and covers 64 miles across Scotland - spread over two days - from Dingwall
to Dornie.
Entry fee is £28.00 which covers overnight accommodation (basic), baggage
transfer, food along the route and a bus back to Dingwall on the Sunday
evening.
