  1. Hello,

Are ther any ACL surgery recipients who could spare some time to help out with a couple of questions
about the ACL procedure. My wife has torn her ACL and has been told by the specialist that it is
really up to her to decide whether repair is necessary or not. He has said that if her lifestyle
does not affect her knee then it is not necessary. We are a family of skiers and my wife currently
uses a knee brace whilst skiing. She says that it completely stops any twisting of the knee and that
her skiing does not suffer, no pain, no bruising, swelling or any other kind of trauma. I am
however, a little more sceptical and worry about future years. She is 38 years old. Can you offer
any advice? I think the thought of the operation and the rehabilitation period is the thing that
    worries her most.

Any thoughts would be great, thank you for your time,
