A Tire Pump Problem

The Joe Blow Sport floor pump I have (with a conventional Siamese
schrader/presta head) won't fit on, and the Serfas MS-1 mini-pumps I've
been preferring for a while won't fit on either. Most pumps I've seen or
owned previously, I suspect will not fit on.

The only pumps that I have found that I am pretty certain will fit on are
the Topeak Micro Rocket pumps (aluminum and carbon), and the few frame
pumps around that still have hoses. ....Are there any mini-pumps that have
hoses? (I'd much prefer a pump to a CO2 capsule inflator) The Micro Carbon
is easily available from many sources but the aluminum one (last years
model) is backordered already, as if production is already tailing off.
The Micro Rockets didn't get great reviews; I'd hate to be dependent on
ONE brand/model of tire pump--especially after its no longer made.

Alternately, what would be great is if someplace sold a short extension
hose that would have a "male" presta valve on one and and a "female"
presta on the other. Does anyone make such a thing?

Or would the pump choices be better if I switched to Schrader tubes? The
rims are drilled and have spacers. Does anyone make an "extension hose"
for schrader pumps?

Topeak Road Morph and Mountain Morph both have hoses. I have both,
and they work well; the Road Morph has the advantage of including a
guage in the valve chuck.

Check with www.yellowjersey.org to see if they have one; I seem to
recall seeing one for Schraders there, and they might have a Presta as
well.

IMO, the only thing to be gained is ease of using the hose at a gas
station, where the only chuck provided is usually Schrader.

Yes, the latter definitely exists. If in no other form, it was a part
on the windshield washer system of the old VW Super Beetle...but as
stated, I think a better one exists at the website that I noted.

I'd second that. The head on the Morph pumps is very compact, and the
pump has worked well for me. I have several of them on different bikes.

I *think* the Morph head is available seperately, but you'll have to
ask Topeak. The only pump head listed is the Smarthead for floor pumps:

which looks too big for your setup.
