Overheard on t'telly as I was cranking up the computer this am was the news that a tourist on the Great Wall of China had been hit by lightning as he tried to use his mobile phone and that in an earlier incident in China someone had been killed for the same reason. Allegedly the active phone had attracted a lightning strike unlike the traditional conductor which actually reduces the likelihood of a strike.
