  1. I use to post on this news group a few years ago. But my
    life and the
n.g. changed. But I came across this quote today on A Word
Per Day and thought a few of you might enjoy it:

The bicycle is the most civilized conveyance known to man.
Other forms of transport grow daily more nightmarish. Only
the bicycle remains pure in heart. -Iris Murdoch, writer
    (1919-1999)

    Ken,

Are you still riding the RANS Wave?

    Ken,

Are you still riding the RANS Wave?

    Tom,

It's nice to know that I'm still remembered by someone on
this n.g. Yes, I still have the Wavewind (Yes, you get
credit for the name.), and I bought a BikeE FX. Dual
suspension and all of that. I may dispose of the BikeE on
    Ebay someday.

Anyway, I bought a fixer-upper house on the River and that
means I moved. This is a much less bike friendly part of
town, no bike lane and the highway's barely wide enough for
two cars. And the house takes up a huge amount of time. Add
up this and that, and I don't ride my bikes any more. They
still have a place of honor in my living room, but they
don't get ridden. I should get back into it someday, but
life just has taken other turns for the past couple of
years. Work, the house, life, all seem to edge out biking.

I still check in on the n.g. regularly, but it seems to have
taken some turns away from biking as well.

    Good luck,

    Ken
