"The letter was for Jens Voigt, but it arrived at Eurosport's office
in December 2004. Katja Löffler wanted to give her husband Michael a
very special birthday present; some kind of training session with his
favourite cyclist Jens Voigt from Team CSC. But it had to take place
on a tandem. Because, her husband is blind. Actually they are both
    blind"...

Voigt piloted, a Eurosport commentator borrowed a racing tandem from
disabled World Champion Manuela Fuchs, and there they are pictured
    riding it.

Nice one. Voigt is a cyclist who has seemed to come across as a Human Being
IMO, as opposed to a racing robot, and this reinforces this. It'll keep
Nathan happy as CSC is is favourite team ;-)

I totally agree - a great character in the peloton - did you ever see
the article about radios during the 2003 Tdf with Voight in is CA days
    in it? Very entertaining...

Shame he got pipped by Vino in the L-B-L too....
