There is a theory about Gaia, which far extends our
knowledge of the Gaia Hypothesis (named for Gaia, Greek
Goddess of Earth) as well as our knowledge of Evolution. It
cuts to the very foundation of our understanding, and brings
us enormous possibilities for a future that is beyond our
wildest dreams.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Gaia Hypothesis (named
for Gaia, Greek Goddess of Earth) it was introduced in
Russia first, about a hundred years ago, then again about 50
years later in English speaking countries. Each time
spawning new religions, which were fairly large considering
they were spawned by scientific theories. There are almost
1/10th as many searches for the word "Gaia" as there are
for the word "God". If you are unfamiliar with the Gaia
Hypothesis (named for Greek Goddess of Earth), don't
worry, there is a short introduction to Gaia in this,
just read on.
The name Gaia, was given by James Lovelock wrote a book
called Gaia named after the Greek Goddess of Earth, that
examines the possibility of life itself being in control of
its own environment. I read the book, Gaia after watching an
interview, shown as a tribute to him, after he died. It was
a truly fascinating interview.
In the interview, James Lovelock sited as an inspiration for
Gaia, that NASA asked him to figure out what to look for as
signs of life on another planet. Basically, what James
Lovelock discovered, was that the Earth or Gaia (or actually
all life on Earth), was in control of its own environment.
This prompted many to believe that Gaia was a living thing,
although James Lovelock did not believe this.
Highlife Theory describes a new type of lifeform. Not only
Gaia, but many others as well. It is a whole new
understanding of life. It shows that Gaia is not only in
deliberate and intentional control of the whole Earth's
environment, but Gaia is also is self aware and extremely
intelligent.
