  1. Bought a cheapo mountain bike for winter use (steelwork by people's
republic, componentry by sheer chance). Rode it up the local hill in the
pouring rain then hurtled (everything is relative) back down on rocky, muddy
tracks running with water. Scared myself thoroughly and got plastered in
gooey mud. Arrived back in the town as the local schoolchildren were
wandering home and got whistles, jeers and shouts of "Look at yon old fool".
Had shower and felt really cool in an elderly sort of way.

Ok, it wasn't the descent of Mount Whosis on three grand's worth of
titanium, but this old guy had a cracking day. Roll on tomorrow!

    Heheheh .. sounds bloody great .. 😉

Went to local Skate park (I'm 44) with sons (12 and 9) today .. 'hanging'
with their mates .. Got serious kudos for trackstanding for 15 minutes, and
    doing 'endo's' while turning corners .. 😉

Came home for a soothing bath, slippers and supper .. lads are still out on
    the park .. 😉
