Sorry if i have not got this worded in the right way as i am new to cycling ..... where in London can you buy a meter to fix to your bike to let you know how many miles you have travelled and how much would you expect to pay for one ...and to get one fitted to your Bike ???

Why not purchase it on-line? U.K. based "Pro Bike Kit" (a.k.a. PBK) has a great website. What you want is a bike computer. PBK sells several brands of computers... I have also used several Avocet models including one with an altimeter (great customer service from this company... maybe even the best I have ever found in the sport), 1 Vetta, 1 Bell, that giant "Panorama" oddity, something called ECHO I bought overseas and from Cateye I have used the Mity8, a wireless model (too much hassle), and the Strada (currently using the last one and loving it)... I think that is all
good luck and when you get one post a reply here and tell us: 1. What make and model you bought and 2. How you feel about it after 10 rides. Include if you use all the features or just one or two.
