    people ride behind trucks and buses breathing in all the exhaust.
    Why people never wear a mask when cycling?

    There are some available. Respro is the name I think
    When I was riding in London around 1990, I used one all the time as it had a carbon filter which seemed to work well against all the diesel pollution.
    I still see them in shops everyonce in a while but I have never bothered in Sydney.

    Good outweighs harm. Masks are available for thems as wants 'em.
