I have been trying to work out a solid training regime for myself on my road bike in order to join time trials and races 6-7 months down the road. I am 19 years old, 6'2, and 175 lbs if that makes any difference on the situation and have been riding for about a month and a half. I have been logging about 20-25 miles 3-4 times a week and am slowly building up mileage every ride but am not seeing a significant change in my endurance or stamina. I was wondering, what would be a good workout regime to follow (diet as well) in order to become a active competitor some way down the road.
