My bike broke down the other day and I had to walk to work. I came to
the busy and complicated junction just down the road from my house and
crossed it, turning right as I usually do. I then realised I was
walking down the road, away from the junction, _in the cycle lane_,
instead of on the pavement!

are actually fellow cyclists who just happen to have forgotten / not

So the next time we see someone walking on the cycle lane, instead of
telling them where to walk, we should stop and offer mechanical
assistance to their invisible bike.David Lloyd
