Just to let people know that one of the chaps on the holiday I was on last week had an accident whilst descending Ventoux. Details are still unclear as to what happened, but he was found on the road and was taken to Orange hospital. Whilst there, he lost consciousness. A brain scan revealed internal bleeding & an emergency operation ensued in Marseilles. I'm sad to say he never regained consciousness & died on Thursday.
His name was Mike - I never did catch his surname - and he cycled in the Norwich area.
