hi everyone, i bought a bike off walmart(it was only 79.99) a few days ago and noticed that i had to pull the rear break almost all they way bak to the handle bars to lock up the tires, is there anyway to make it so i can pull about half way and get full breaking power? if so can u give me any sites that show how to adjust this problem, or tell me how to on this thred

o yah i forgot to tell u, i tried screwing that little screw near the handle bar but it didnt do anything

I don't know whether the bike has adjusters or not, most do, but not sure about Walmart.
If not, you're going to have to loosen the cable bolt, hold the brake shoes in near the rim of the wheel, pull through some of the slack cable and retighten.
The problem is that you have too much slack in the cable, and you therefore have to take up all the slack before you're getting any braking power.
