Is this a single-speed bike? Just wrap the chain around the chainring, back
around the rear sprocket, and back to the chainring. Mark it and cut of the
part you don't need. If it's a derailer bike, do the same thing, except run
it through the derailer, and cross-chained, big to big. In that position
the derailer should be stretched to its maximum tension.
