  1. I'm upgrading soon. Does anybody know approximately how much lighter the new group is? thanks!

  2. I've just upgraded my vintage '99 chorus drive train to a 2004 chorus 10 speed triple (in March).
Not sure about the weight, but the shifting is way smoother and quieter than my '99. For some reason, my '99 used to get quite finicky shifting between the 3, 4, 5 largest cogs in rear (13-26 9sp).

Very happy with the 2004 upgrade. Plus now I get my favorite 42/53 front which my older bike used to have as well as the granny for RAMROD. Stayed with a 13-26 however it is nice to have the 18 as well. Very happy with it so far.
