It's about 92 days since I last saw that big round yellow
thing in the sky. Summer just isn't happening here - it's
been rain and 60F temperatures for the last couple of
months. I had to cancel my trip down to the Ardennes this
weekend. I wouldn't count myself a fair weather cyclist,
but I'm not driving two hours each way to ride in the
pissing rain.

As for the recent British weather …
a) I'm unlikely to get dehydrated on long runs (but
hypothermia could be a problem)
b) it makes my decision to get disk brakes on my new(ish)
bike look inspired.
