    My hack/shopping bike (an old Peugeot, seemingly imported from Holland) uses the above size front
    hub (Normandy stamped on it).

    Anyone know where I could get a new front wheel (alloy...it's steel at the moment)?

    I guess I could try to build the original hub into a new rim, but I've never done any wheelbuilding,
    and there's no way back if I screw up.

    Or is it feasable to spread the fork to accept a more modern hub?
