  1. Has anyone ever heard of, or know where to get a 9 speed screw on cluster?

I am told they exist - although every LBS I have spoken to thinks this is not true.

    Any one?

  2. I wouldn't get one.

For memory, one of the main reasons that they changed to cassettes, was that when the clusters went to 7, and then to 8 speed, more and more axles were breaking.

Before I changed to cassettes, I was using 7 speed Maillard clusters, and I was breaking an axle every few months. So, 8 speed is worse, and I would imagine 9 speed would be a nightmare.

But I suppose if you weigh 130lbs, it might not be a problem 🙂

Never heard of one and they aren't listed in the QBP.
