I can get race face 8 speed cranks cheaper, is this just thicker rings? What's the difference? Is it

Thanks, Bruce.

I have not done so with RaceFace rings, but I've never had any problem using so-called 8 speed rings
on 9 speed systems (mainly Shimano and Vuelta)
