8/9-spd wheelset for 7-spd frame

  1. I believe I know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway.

    I have a frame (Haro V-1) made for a 7-spd freewheel that I
    want to convert to single speed. One option is of course to
    get SS wheels. Another is to get an multi-speed freewheel
    and use spacers. I'm leaning toward the 2nd options since I
    see more of multi-speed wheels. Question is will a 8/9 speed
    wheelset fit on this frame?

    What's the spacing of the rear dropouts? If it's 135mm, then
    yes it will fit.
