The diameters are purely nominal. It is a waste of time to compare the numbers. Compare actual
measurements using the same rim.

That's the way Michelin labels tires. Panaracer, for example, marks them 700-35C (34-622). The
closest size Kenda here is 700-38 ( 40-622).
