Does anyone have any experience of this tent from Decathlon? Apparently it can be erected in a few seconds by chucking it in the air!
It looks fairly useful as a base tent but won't be any good to carry any distance. It's too heavy and the photos in Decathlon's magazine make the bloke carrying it look like a mutant ninja turtle! Might be OK as a paraglider though.
Incidentally, I asked a camp-site manager (at Crowden) if he'd seen it used and he looked at me rather strangely. It has since occured to me that this was on April 1st, so I can now understand his incredulity!
