There's a 5K in San Diego associated with the Holiday Bowl. It used to be that if you won the race,
you got to ride in the Holiday Bowl Paraade on a float. How cool is that? There's also one on 1/3 at
    Concordia University in Irvine.

  3. You'd think there would be dozens of races on Christmas. What with nobody wanting joggers anywhere
near their holiday celebrations, and all.

They also have joggers christmas parties. Where we talk about new ways to run away from bullies,
talk about how cool the latest jogger clothes look, and assign blame to our jogging shoes for our
jogger-injuries (-; Every now and then, one of the Candians asks some deep question like "what is a
hill", and that Tom Wheeler guy shows up and starts rambling incomprehensively. Then the trolls show
up, which always makes for interesting conversation. Then we eat -- one of the good things about a
"jogger party" as opposed to a "low carb party" or a "dieters support group" party is that you're
allowed to eat as much as you like.

    Cheers,
