It is always cool and comfortable at Graceland. Yes, Elvis had air
    conditioning.

As for the rest of Memphis, well, what can I say. It's summer in the
Mid-South. Temperature and humidity can range from comfortable to
brutal. Businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc. are all air conditioned.
The first three days of activity will be hosted at air conditioned
gyms. We are trying to schedule outside activities early or late in the
day for a reason. Don't let the threat of hot weather keep you away.
Join us as we all keep our fingers crossed and hope for really good
    weather.

BTW, I understand it was 95 degrees in Minneapolis today. Memphis was
not that hot. That's how weather works. You never know what your gonna
    get.

Hope to see you in Memphis.

Pretty much the case at every NAUCC except the one we count as first,
which was held in October. We boiled in Minnesota in 1982, and I don't
think it was any hotter in Mobile, Alabama in 1989. Maybe a little more
    humid...

A quote from '89 organizer Seth Granberry: "Air conditioning is a way
    of life down here."
That quote was made in May '88, when I came down to visit for a
mini-meet they had down there. '89 was a very fun convention, BTW.
First off-road race; what we would now call cross country.

Wow, someone from across the pond. I am sure we can find you some kind
of unicycle to ride. It will have at least one wheel anyway.

The Bedford Experience is on the schedule for 2 evenings (recent

If you are staying at the Microtel Inn on Germantown Rd in Cordova, TN,
it should be fine. The hotel is near a large shopping mall. There are
lots of restaurants and stores nearby.

    Yep, that's it. I can't wait.

Will there be tire pumps availible? Because I will probablly have to
deflate my unicycles for on the plane, but won't be able to bring a
    tire pump.

I'll hopefully bring my muni, trials and freestyle. I don't know if I
can cram my BC into the suitcase too, but I'll sure try. My muni is
going into a big suit bag. 🙄

We'll be at the hotel from midnight the 31st to... early morning the
5th. That's cool you'll be able to make the street comp.

  20. My crew is only about three hours away in a car, so we'll probably be
bringing all five of our available unis.
