  1. Ok... might be a strange question...but never mind!

Right - is there a 'standard' route for people to follow doing the yorkshire
3 peaks? I'm looking at doing the walk soon and want to look into the route
before I walk it (more for curiosity than anything else!).

    Amy info gladly accepted...

My mom said she learned how to swim when someone took her out in the lake
and threw her off the boat. I said, 'Mom, they weren't trying to teach you
how to swim.' - Paula Poundstone

I supplied a list of grid references recently for where I think the
route goes (I haven't done it or decades) in response to a query
recently. No one disputed it but that might mean that no one with recent
experience of the walk bothered to check them out. I can't find the
scrap of paper that I wrote them on so you will have to google for the
    message.

For about 80% of it, you simply follow the yellow brick road. Most of the
route has been "improved" by the YDNP, as the consequence of some pretty
dreadful erosion. I suspect that much of this has been generated by
    organised parties doing "challenge" walks.

You can download GPS data for the route from
    http://www.walk-with-gps.co.uk/ukaaad.html

I haven't used the GPS data, so can't guarantee that it is correct.
