    Mr Perth trying to sell one gave me the idea...

    Anyone in Melb got an 'old' MTB in reasonable nick you want to offload?

    I'm going to start commuting more by bike and don't want to use my good road bike for obvious reasons.

    Don't want/need top end groupset. Entry level Giant up to say 5 years old or similar would be good. If it's already got slicks on it - all the better...

    Good move Melbourne!!!

    I can tell you mine with the 11-48 gear and the 31mm slicks, look out road bikes!!!

    This thing is far faster out of corners and through traffic than my Felt!!

    Just go for it!! (Next, carbon forks)
