I was wondering what the advantage is for having a larger tire, if any.
I'm just going to ride on the street about 15 miles round trip.
I'm looking at cheap used bikes on craigslist.
Do you have to work harder with a smaller tire.

Its part of bike sizing,
Crank length, frame size, wheel size etc...
24" MTB will be for someone below 5'.
For example, my GF is 4'11" and rides a 24" Huffy MTB and a Giant OCR XXXS with 650c wheels. 😄

If all else is equal larger wheels will give more comfort and probably more stability.
