Aarhus 1900 MTB will in 2005 host Denmark's only second 24 hour race, in
this newly developed and very popular race-form. The event takes place in
Beder a few km. south of Aarhus on the 27 - 28th of august. The race will
be run on a 9 km. hilly and technically demanding lap, consisting
primarily of singletrack and a few smaller gravel roads. It is possible to
compete as an individual rider in the solo-class, as a duo-pair and
finally as a team, consisting of four members. Rules are simple, the rider
or team who will cover the longest distance during the 24 hour timeframe
has won. The Race has a wide appeal to riders in all categories from elite
to recreational. All it takes is a MTB, lights for the 8 hours of
Night-riding and the courage to face the hardest 24 hours of your life so
far...
