Jani Brajkovič is amazing, one of the youngest riders and already second ;) Future Lance Armstrong if you ask me :D

He's learned how to wheelsuck already also! :D

Whoa, a good Vuelta for Italy so far.

Well, Di Luca did say he wanted to go to the World Championships, and he has to be 'worried' about Bettini's form...

Viva Di Luca ! Viva Italia !

What a stage! DiLuca is the last one of the favourites that I expected to be in a good shape. What a surprise.
It`s great that there`s a mountain stage after just 4 days and that there are not just 2 packs of mountains (like Pyrenees and Alps in TdF). It will make the race more interesting because plenty of riders are not already in a top shape.

I just finished watching the stage.... DiLuca did all the work and was smarter to still win.... everyone else look totally spent from the heat and the long season... Sastre couldn't hold wheels and I expect him to drop out before the end.... valverde did a lot of work proir to DiLuca's attack an will get better as the race goes on... Menchov was gone, Perino even worse.... Vino ok and Mayo didn't look to bad..... it will be an interesting race without Fuentes in the peleton.... Tommy D ? Was up there but he is hanging on to be honest... he won't last.... danger man is Kashechkin - looked strong... David Miller ? Looked ok......... WBT ? He's going to bed now....

Great Stage. I've caved in and started watching, but it was well worth it.

Amazing to see Di Luca on a roll again, but to be honest, I don't know whats going on with him. One of the best riders in 2005. But since then he's been a lead weight. And now this out of the blue!

Kashechkin looked good.

I'd say Sastre and Valverde are still the men to beat - they are so consistent. OK they couldn't stay with the first 3 but then again they did a lot of the work on the way up.

Yes little Tommy D, looks like he can make top 10 and maybe 5 again this year. But nothing to suggest he has a victory in him.

What about Vino? The vuelta could have redeemed his summer, but now it looks like he's using this as a platform to win the Worlds.

What goes around comes around :p :p

I am so glad Braj made TD look bad! Just like TD was always touting himself (even though Braj has not), and the perception was that TD was limited by Il Falco in the Giro (that was not true).

Now we'll see if Braj has to work for TD!
