I have the 2005 Fuji Professional. Professional is the same frame,
but with lighter carbon ('C7' instead of 'C4', or vice versa). Only
100 g difference though. Very nice, IMO. I am 'heavy' at 200+ lbs
and have no complaints about stiffness. And I have done 200k hilly
rides on it and didn't get beat to death.

I'm looking at a new 54-cm Fuji Team Pro for $1400 at a shop in OC, CA, so
maybe you could get a better price? Seems like a great deal but I'm still
trying to decide what bike will work best for me.

The shop should be as much as a factor as the frame.... make sure you like and trust the shop.

I bought one last summer and added racing wheels and upgraded the
cranks and BB and I love this bike. I think I got it down to 17lbs and
so far, I can find nothing to complain about.
