  1. I am trying to get the correct headset from Cane Creek for my 2004 Trek 2300. I asked my LBS and they told me that they thought I should use a ZeroStack, but Cane Creek's tech line said that their IS models are correct for this frame. Trek's website only says they use a Cane Creek internal headset...cany anyone help me here? What is the right headset for this frame???

Sorry. I can't answer your question, but I am thinking about upgrading to the 2300, and would appreciate a little feedback on it.

I work at a Trek shop, and I'm pretty sure it's the IS.

  5. I just bought my new 2300 yesterday. It has the IS model. Hope that helps you 🙂
