So does anybody have a Specialized Rockhopper? Specificly the Comp level. I went on a test ride on one today. The only problem I had was that it didn't feel long enough. This would be easily solved by a longer stem and sliding the seat back a bit. But how do they hold up? I just got to ride around a parking lot and jump over some curbs and stuff. How do they perform on the trails?

i have a 2004 rockhopper comp and i cant complain so far. i've taken it on a bunch of trails with the occasional jump and downhill bomb and the bike has performed well. its come through a few rough crashes none the worse for wear and stepped up to everything i've asked of it -
I have one, its a great bike except the stock wheels are [censored]. Spokes started breaking left and right after about 1500 miles. Im only 140 lbs, dont do any drops or jumps or anything either. Other than that its been great, Ive even raced it.
