  1. I am looking to buy a 04 Lemond BA, what do you guys think of this
    bike?

I've been mostly a mountain biker/runner and Boxer. I want to get into
road biking and have test rode many and am leaning toward this one.

  2. All things being equal, if that's the one that you're leaning towards,
go for it. The 2004 has a carbon/steel frame with a Shimano
Ultegra/105 gruppo mix. The 2005 model features a Campy Veloce gruppo,
except for the BB, I believe. I've not ridden either one, but own two
LeMonds and have found them to be great bikes.

  3. Thanks! I actually rode a lot of bikes and when I rode the Champey by
Lemond, "alum" I liked it right away. It was SUPER light feeling "to
me" and I loved it' But.. riding them more and more I found the BA took
bumps a lil nicer and maybe didnt FEEL as fast but probably was.

Well, the primary rule is to be comfortable on the bike. Don't worry
about which gew-gaws and whizbangs it has so much. Is it fun to ride?

So far, it sounds like you're off to a good start.
