20" vs 26" wheel question

Okay,I've looked at bikes, read about the bikes, fantasized about being able to go on long rides

more questions to ask. I'll almost feel bad for whoever walks up to me this weekend at Planetary
Cycles here in Houston, especially when I open my notebook of notes and questions, So, let me ask
the riders the one that's been intriging me the most.

The Lighting P-38, and the Bacchetta Giro each has a 26" wheel in the back and a 20" in the front,
while the Strada & the Corsa models have 26" front and back. What is the difference in ride,
control, and feel between the two different wheel sizes? Other than it might be easier to put your
feel on the ground with the 20" front wheel.

I'm leaning towards purchasing either the Strada or the Corsa, (with the edge going to the Corso).
Any input will certainly be appreciated.

I have an '02 Strada. Personally, I have no basis for comparison since this is my first recumbent. What I've read, however, is that the larger (26) front wheel tends to do a better job of soaking up road irregularities. Also the larger front wheel effectively raises the bottom bracket height, perhaps making it a little more dicey for short legged riders.
