20" inch fork and wheels?

My P-38 started with a 16" (349mm) suspended front fork. I think what comfort I gained with the
suspension, I lost with the smaller wheel. When I switched to the 20"(406mm) non suspension fork,
speed, comfort and handling improved.

Advantages: Wider selection of tires and not as sensitive to pot holes. Disadvantages: Your seat
front will be about 2" higher and if you have short legs like me, reaching the ground when stopped
may be a problem.

Running wider tires even on the 349 will help in the comfort part of your ride. I will not make it
faster Maybe slower.

With the 406, I run Stelvios (28-406) or Conti GP (28-406). When I tour with with the P-38, I run
Vredestein S-Licks (33-406)
