hi, i'm doing my first crit race tomorrow and i was wondering, the distance is i think 30 mins +5 laps. Are there flags or anything that tell you how much time and how many laps are left?

Also, are 700x23 bontrager race x lites slick tires ok to use? Or should i use the 700x25 bontrager race lites with the grips on the sides? Should i fill them high psi? low psi? -
30 min+5 laps all depends on the speed. It's usually about 12 miles, give or take a few. On the tires, you want to use 700*23, and fill them up to the max recomended pressure on the tire. I dont know anything about those tires, but they should be fine. I've done sevral races on cheapy training Serfas tires that cost 19 bucks, so those should work ok.
