I'm looking to buy my first road bike soon. I am currently riding a fairly fast hybrid and have taken it on some medium-length rides, and acquired a taste for it, so I would like a proper road bike. My budget is around the £1200 mark (About US$2200), and I'm looking at the following bikes:
Trek 1500 '04

Bianchi Mega Pro Lite Alloy SL3 (Ultegra gruppo)
Airborne Thunderbolt (Ultegra gruppo)
Does anyone have any ideas about what would be best? (Recommendations don't have to come from the above list). The rides I enjoy are typically slightly hilly, around 60 miles, don't involve a lot of sprinting and take place on medium-to-good quality roads. I will only be using the bike in dry weather. I weigh about 190lbs. I would prefer durability over lightness, especially as regards wheelsets. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
