  1. I found out today that there is a 40k TT coming up in a week and a day. So, I don't have much time for training for it. I do a weekly 10 Mile TT on rolling terrain...my personal best time is 23:15 with a 4 week average of about 23:40.
My main question is, How to pace for 25 miles??? I don't have a power meter or anything...just some clip on aero bars on a standard road bike.
I'm planning on riding the course tomorrow to see how it goes and give myself a "basic" idea of what the race will be like. From what I know right now, the couse is basically flat. I think about a 1% average grade uphill to the turnaround. Just want to get some ideas of how to "hold back" so I don't get to the 12.5 mile turnaround and be already burnt out.

    Thanks for any advice!!!
