Smaller market perhaps? Maybe they sold out so quickly last year in NZ, Giant's distributor decided to squeeze a little more out of the consumer?

Has the price rise been consistent across the entire range?

that sucks. Well you could fly over to Aus buy one fly back and still be infront and still be giving it to the man.

Smaller yes, but always comparitive if not identical to Oz. There are still some '06 models around and currently they'd be over $1000 off the retail of the practically identical '07's... how dumb!

As far as I'm aware we only had the one OCR Comp last year, the Ultegra one for $3395rrp. There are now 3 models in the range and the middle one, with 105 gear now, takes that price.
