I just replaced a pair of the original Poggios with the Poggio IIIs.
The Poggio IIIs feel really different. The soles seem a bit thinner so
I lowered my seat height a little bit, but the shoes still feel weird.
For example, despite my best attempts to position the cleats, my heels
seem to be hitting my chainstays surprisingly often and I am getting a
lot of painful hot spots. Perhaps the last is much more curved than in
the original? Does anyone know how the Poggio has evolved from the
original? Can anyone recommend another shoe that might have the same
snug heel fit of the Poggio but with a shape more similar to the
originals than to the shape of the more recent models?
