Why do people respond to the Lafferty Troll?

He's gone so far out into left field that he has no idea of what reality is
any longer. When he posts it's more humorous than factual.

Why do people respond to the KUNICH Troll?
He's gone so far out into RIGHT field that he has no idea of what reality
is
any longer. When he posts it's more ANNOYING than factual.
